MBS GmbH is an owner-managed, internationally operating company providing satellite-based communication solutions from Germany’s largest teleport.

Innovative service integrator

MBS is a reliable service integrator for critical communication services and a provider of managed gateways. We have been operating data and voice communications via satellite and data networks for more than 45 years – worldwide and in space. Our expertise ranges from traditional satellite services to bespoke applications in the ‘New Space’ sector.

Government and business customers worldwide place their trust in MBS’s integrity and innovative strength. This is partly because we have our own fail-safe infrastructure in Germany and across Europe.

Our headquarters is the earth station in Usingen, Rhine-Main region. Our employees thus ensure the trouble-free operation of over 135 large antennas on an area of approx. 140 hectares and keep an eye on the utilization of all resources.

In doing so, we assume an important responsibility: to enable the transmission and reception of satellite signals on more than 80% of the earth’s surface.
